FOREST CITY QUEEN CRUISE & Lunch
We are looking forward to our first ever cruise
aboard the Forest City Queen Riverboat! We’ll first
enjoy a delicious Hoffman House prime rib dinner
with all the fixin’s and apple pie with caramel topping
for dessert. Then we’ll experience an “up close
and personal” glimpse of some of the most stately homes gracing the banks
of the Rock River, while hearing about Rockford’s humble beginnings. After
the boat ride, we’ll board the “Trolley Car 36” for a ride along the scenic
Rock River Recreation Path.
(Note that the boat is covered but the trolley
car isn’t, and in case of rain we will replace the trolley car ride with a tour
of the Midway Village Museum.)
