OUR MISSION
Theater Bus, Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to enriching the quality of life for all adults over 55 residing in the greater Madison community by providing safe, affordable, escorted outings to theatrical, cultural and social events.
OUR HISTORY
Theater Bus, Inc. is a nonprofit organization formed in 1976. Governed by an active board of directors, our executive director is assisted by a dedicated group of volunteers who help select, adminster and escort outings for older aldults. Last year approximately 1,800 seniors participated in about 35 trips to dinner theaters, museums, concerts and cruises.
Theater Bus provides a link between seniors and the rich cultural environment in our area. We strive to make these events accesible to all, including those with physical and financial challenges. |

Theater Bus' volunteer board of directors provide oversight to the organization, in addition to assisting the executive director in leading and escorting trips.
We are also blessed with devoted vo lunteers who help select events, assist with the bulletin mailings, prepare for trips, and help with the general office duties. We couldn't do it without them! |
